Rarely, and I mean rarely are we ever presented with an idea, concept or request that we can’t somehow, in some manner, shape, form or design – translate into a cookie. Over the past 13+ years, Bundles of Cookies has encountered numerous “crazy cookie requests.” Some have actually forced us to scratch our heads a little, trying to wrap ourselves around a creative way to incorporate the design request of the customer, while still creating an edible work of art. The phrase endless possibilities has always been our mantra followed by..eat the cookies, we’ll make more!
Endless possibilities indeed. Through our new segment “There Is A Cookie For That” we are going to explore some of the more unusual occasion to give/receive a cookie.
So to start this new segment off, we are going to address TWO creative cookie occasions
National Maritime Day
which was on Tuesday, May 22nd.and ..
National Sunscreen Day
which is Sunday, May 27th
Two themes that complement each other and are rather appropriate considering the upcoming Memorial Day weekend, So sit back and relax, drop anchor,
bask in the sun
or sail the open seas!
Living in Maryland and being so close to the Chesapeake Bay, Potomac River and Atlantic Ocean it only seems fitting to mark th3ese days as special cookie days. What a great way to kick start your boating season. The sun is out and the weekend weather looks promising, so, please, if you find yourself out on the water this weekend please remember to be safe, wear sunscreen
