{There’s A Cookie For That!} National Friendship Day

I'll be there for you...

So, National Best Friend’s Day has come and gone. Technically is is celebrated on Friday, June 8th – however, I just did not get around to getting my post up in time.  Unwilling to let go of this theme, I am moving forward with the post for two reasons. 1. The cookie designs are just too fun and adorable not to share and 2. Shouldn’t everyday be Friendship Day? After all, where would be without our friends (significant others included)?

In my not-so-professional opinion (however if I say/write it with enough conviction I bet I can get most of you to agree),  National Best Friend’s Day should be celebrated right along side Mother’s Day and Father’s Day.  Heck, how many times does one turn to a friend for advice, a shoulder to cry on, a welcome ear or just to let loose?  I value my friends, and would prefer to have fewer close, best friends than a lot of acquaintances.  Although, I do believe in the old adage, that one can never have too many friends. So, here is an homage to friendship whether it be  old, new, complicated, easy or cherished, friendship should always be held sacred. Just take a look at these famous friendship!

About BundlesOfCookies

Hi! My name is Sarah, and I am the vision and inspiration behind Bundles of Cookies | Creative Cookie Arrangements. When I first opened Bundles of Cookies in 1998, it was all about ME...14 years later, it is about me, my husband and my three adorable children. I am an ideas person who relies on my talented staff to make my visions reality. I don't claim to be a cookie artist, however, I can pipe along side the best of them. Being "me" means creating, sampling and exploring the world of edible art! My world is a test kitchen and I'm lovin' it!
